Entertainment only — not legal advice.
BantamCourt is not a court of law, does not provide legal advice, and does not mediate real disputes. Every ruling here is a warm, made-up verdict for a low-stakes squabble. If something real is at stake, please call a real lawyer.
Acceptable use
The Safety Bailiff declines a complaint before checkout if it falls into any of these buckets. If your case trips one, edit it and refile.
- No threats of physical harm — BantamCourt stays a squabble court, never a hazard.
- No doxxing — keep real addresses, phone numbers, social handles, and workplaces out of the case text.
- No real custody, visitation, or child-support questions; those belong with a family lawyer.
- No real money, leases, debt collection, or refund disputes — the bench rules on thermostat arguments, not landlord-tenant ones.
- No cases involving minors — BantamCourt stays among adults.
- No implied or stated threats — petty squabbles only, never pressure.
- No slurs or cases that turn on protected characteristics — warm squabbles only.
No minors
Cases involving minors are out of scope. BantamCourt stays among adults — by using the bench you agree to keep it that way.
Refund eligibility
Each shipped tier has its own refund posture. Once a judge has ruled, the case is closed.
For the petty squabble you need to put down before dinner.
Refund
Once the judge has ruled, the case is closed and no refund is issued. If the Safety Bailiff declines the complaint before ruling — that is, before checkout — it is free and no charge is taken.
For the squabble that wants its defense heard too.
Refund
Once both sides have spoken and the judge has ruled, the case is closed and no refund is issued. If the other side never responds within seven days, the case still closes on the existing record and the fee is retained.
Evidence Hearing is not yet shipping, so no refund clause applies yet. When it does, its rules will land here alongside the others.
Judge-decision finality
The AI judge’s ruling is final within BantamCourt, exists for entertainment, and has no legal effect. Once the judge has spoken, the case is closed — there is no appeal channel and no real-world enforcement behind any verdict.
Sharing your verdict card
Every filed case produces a public verdict page at /v/[id] and a shareable 1080×1080 PNG generated at /api/verdict-card/[id]. BantamCourt is not responsible for what happens after you copy, download, or share either artifact — once it leaves the bench, it is yours to live with, in any group chat or context it lands in.
